മൈൻസ് ആൻഡ് മിനറൽസ് (ഡെവലപ്മെന്റ് ആൻഡ് റെഗുലേഷൻ) ആക്ട് 1957 പ്രകാരം മൂന്ന് ചട്ടങ്ങള് കേരള സർക്കാർ നിര്മിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ ചട്ടങ്ങള് എല്ലാം നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത് മൈനിംഗ് ആൻഡ് ജിയോളജി വകുപ്പാണ്. മൈനിംഗ് ആൻഡ് ജിയോളജി വകുപ്പിന് പുറമേ, ലാൻഡ് റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പ്, പോലീസ് വകുപ്പ്, തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയിലെ ചില ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരെ മേല് നിയമങ്ങളുടെ ചില അധികാരങ്ങൾ വിനിയോഗിക്കാനും ചില പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യാനും യോഗ്യതയുള്ള അധികാരികളാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
1.4.2023- വരെ പരിഷ്കരിച്ച ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ നിയമങ്ങൾ ചുവടെ ലിസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു ( നിയമങ്ങളും ഭേദഗതികളും).

Government of Kerala has enacted following three rules under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act 1957 and all these rules are implemented by Department of Mining and Geology. In addition to the Department of Mining and Geology, some officials of Land Revenue Department, Police Department and Local Self Government Institutions have been made competent authority to exercise certain powers and perform certain functions under the rules.
