Government of Kerala has amended Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules and Kerala Minerals (Prevention of illegal mining, storage and transportation) Rules on 31.3.2023. With this amendment, the Secretaries of Local Self Government Institutions can issue mineral transit pass for transportation of ordinary earth excavated for the purpose of construction of building having plinth areas up to 278.7 sq m (3000 sq feet). Department of Mining and Geology will continue to issue passes in connection with construction of buildings having plinth area more than 278.7 sq m.
കേരള ഗവൺമെന്റ് 31.3.2023-ന് കേരള മൈനർ മിനറൽ കൺസെഷൻ ചട്ടങ്ങളും കേരള മിനറൽസ് (അനധികൃത ഖനനം, സംഭരണം, ഗതാഗതം എന്നിവ തടയൽ) ചട്ടങ്ങളും ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്തു. ഈ ഭേദഗതിയിലൂടെ, തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ സെക്രട്ടറിമാർക്ക് 278.7 ചതുരശ്ര മീറ്റർ (3000 ചതുരശ്ര അടി) വരെ പ്ലിന്ത് ഏരിയകളുള്ള കെട്ടിടത്തിന്റെ നിർമ്മാണത്തിനായി കുഴിച്ചെടുത്ത സാധാരണ മണ്ണ് കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതിന് മിനറൽ ട്രാൻസിറ്റ് പാസ് നൽകാം. 278.7 ചതുരശ്ര മീറ്ററിൽ കൂടുതൽ പ്ലിൻത്ത് ഏരിയയുള്ള കെട്ടിടങ്ങളുടെ നിർമ്മാണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് മൈനിംഗ് ആൻഡ് ജിയോളജി വകുപ്പ് പാസ് നൽകുന്നത് തുടരും.
